Based on the family favourite ‘The Gruffalo’ by Julia Donaldson, this Storysack is aimed at children 3 years and above. The inclusion of a non-fiction book, ‘Woodland Creatures’, encourages discussion around a woodland theme. A wooden Gruffalo character with moving arms and legs is also included for use whilst telling the story. Have fun making some ‘Gruffalo feet biscuits’ using the laminated recipe sheet or play a game of matching pairs with the Gruffalo memory cards included in the sack. A map of local beaches and green spaces provides ideas for places to explore in Southend.
