A Storysack for children aged 3 years and above based on the wonderful book ‘The Colour Monster’ by Anna Llenas. The sack provides a gentle exploration of emotions and feelings through the story of an emotionally ‘mixed up’ monster whose friend helps him to work out what each feeling means through the use of colour. In addition to the story book a wonderfully illustrated non-fiction book, ‘Colour’ has been included for general interest and added discussion with your child. The inclusion of a set of soft foam emoji cubes further offers the opportunity for getting your child talking about their feelings and improving speech and language skills at the same time. Have a go at making some paper plate emotion masks using the laminated sheet included or fill some ‘emotion jars’ with colours and help the Colour Monster sort out his feelings.
