A bug-themed Storysack for toddlers aged from 2 years. The wonderful board book ‘Norman’s New Shell’ explores different colours and this sack includes a colour matching puzzle to encourage colour-recognition of familiar objects and develop matching and sorting skills. A non-fiction book ‘My First Book of Garden Bugs’ continues the bug-theme of the sack. A magnifying glass has been included for exploration of bugs (or other objects) either outside in the park or garden or from within the book. A laminated sheet of identifiable bugs has been provided to aid with this activity. The sack also includes a laminated template of a slug for your child to find objects from around the house and give Norman a new shell. A map of local beaches and green spaces provides ideas for places to explore in Southend.
