Bill Bellamy was an officer in the 8th King's Royal Irish Hussars, serving in the 7th Armoured Division during the North West Europe campaign and latterly as part of the initial occupying force in Berlin in 1945. This is his account of his experiences in the battle for Europe in 1944 and 1945.
