Animated feature based on the acclaimed video game series and directed by Atsushi Takeuchi. Acting as a prequel to the lastest game in the franchise, 'Mass Effect 3', the film follows Alliance Marine James Vega (voiced by Freddie Prinze Jr) as he heads a battle against a breed of aliens known as The Collectors. While fighting this new threat, Vega and his team of elite special forces must protect the surviving human colonists who are in danger of being taken by the extraterrestrials.
