From Peepshow to Panavision is an 8mm film made in the early 1970s by local film makers Roy Dilley and Lawrence Cooper. With a commentary by Ashley Hitchcock, it reflects the state of the town's cinemas. The Manager tells the story of manager Ron Stewart's 50 years in the cinema industry. To three generations of children he was Uncle Ron at the Saturday morning pictures and he recalls his story of a boy who went to the pictures and stayed for 50 years,.
